How did we get here? I have been thinking a lot about the color red this couple of weeks. Everywhere I turn I keep on seeing red, the obvious reason it's valentines. It got me thinking about how many red clothing items I have in my closet and why I am reluctant to wear or reach out for items with that particular color. Searching my memory bank, to find something red in my closet I came across my prom dress that I sewed when I was 16 going on 17. Please don’t judge me that I still have my prom dress... It was one of the first pieces I designed and sewn by myself. This got me wondering if the dress still fits me. I know you are laughing with me and saying, to yourself girl please! That is some ten years plus without really aging myself. To my surprise, the dress still fits and it zipped up too! It was a little tight on the chest area but everything else fit perfectly.
